All About HIIT


A lot of people don't understand how 45 minutes a day can be any effective when getting fit. Well the answer is, if you're doing it right, it can be even more effective than a conventional gym workout! High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and weight training is a great way to get fit in a short amount of time. 

Some people spend hours at the gym, doing conventional machine workouts, combining with cardio. That is definitely one option – it's effective and it works, but I personally prefer HIIT and weight training. I love to work with kettlebells – you can activate your muscles in so many ways. You can do whole body exercises that targets your core, legs, gluts, arms and even lower back. You can work your strength and and get your heart rate up at the same time. That's why it's called HIIT training, because you work an amazing amount of intensity in short intervals of time with short rest periods in between. By having these short burst of intensity mixed with short rest breaks, you start to create resistance, something that conventional gym machines don't allow you to do. 

I've been all about HIIT training for the past 5 years and the results are amazing! My strength and endurance has drastically improved throughout the years.
